Kosovo Advisory, Products, and Systems (KS-APS) is a consulting firm based in Kosovo that provides high quality services to clients in the areas of financial management, innovation products, and communications. KS-APS is seeing to fill the position of:
Mid-Level Front-End Developer
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop new UI in Javascript, Bootstrap (HTML + CSS), and JQuery
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Experience working with a modern framework like Angular or React
- Act as a Team Leader and supervise the front-end development of software applications starting from design, to deployment, evaluation, and maintenance.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, tracking support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Show and further acquire strong knowledge on using version control systems, preferably, Github or Bitbucket
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Present work and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders and facilitate communication among them.
- Conduct software debugging processes including the technical analysis and testing of the developed product according to the i-APS’s requirements, and recommend solutions to identified technical issues.
- Submit progress reports to Product Development Manager.
- Possess good communication skills and willingness to work in a team
- Provide technical expertise in facilitating the recruitment procedures for new local front-end programmers/developers.
- Identify and suggest necessary training on coding skills for front-end development (including specific programming languages) for staff members in Kosovo engaged in developing software applications
Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- It is preferred that interested candidates have a Bachelor Degree in the field of Computer Science or any other relevant area to accomplish the tasks.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum 2 year of professional experience as a Front End Developer
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development and maintenance
- Experience working with a modern framework like Angular or React
- Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Understanding of server-side management practices
- Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
