Full Stack Developer PHP

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer (m/f) to strengthen our Department of Software Engineering for Robotics and Automation. To apply you must fulfil requirements listed below, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by our team.

Technical Skills Required
Experienced and/or proficient in (PHP focused):

• In-depth knowledge of PHP, including relevant frameworks,
• Solid Web development background as well as experience with REST and SOAP APIs
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
• Demonstrable project experience,
• Object-oriented programming model,
• Debugging and Testing skills
• Experience in setting up test environments using PHP Testing Framework (PHPUnit).

Useful Extra Skills
Experienced and/or proficient in:

• Experience with PERL,
• Good knowledge of CodeIgniter Framework,
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL,
• Experience using Ansible and YAML,
• Data Science skills and experience,
• Good grasp of Machine Learning, AI, and Deep Learning.

Experience Level

• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or acquainted fields.
• Senior to Mid-Level software engineering experience.
• Working with a team in an agile environment.

Soft Skills

• Good personality, open and agile minded, team player, willing to learn and overperform,
• English proficiency is necessary, the German language is a plus,
• Willingness to accommodate work flexible hours,
• Responsible and capable to work unsupervised,
• Being collaborative, helping others, and not being afraid to ask for help,
