We are looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen our Department of Software Engineering for Robotics and Automation. To apply you must fulfil the requirements listed below, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by our team.
Technical Skills Required
Experienced and/or proficient in:
- Experience with agile software development techniques,
- In-depth experience in any of Object-Oriented Programming Languages (Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.),
- Experience with relational and/or no-SQL databases,
- Solid Web development background as well as experience with REST and SOAP APIs,
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.,
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services,
- Debugging and Testing skills.
Useful Extra Skills
Experience or knowledge in:
- Test Automation,
- Microsoft SQL Server,
- Version Repository,
- Troubleshooting,
- Technical Documentation,
- Optimization.
Experience Level
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar fields.
- Junior, Medium, or Senior (as long as you bring the skills and desire to grow).
- Working with teams in an agile environment.
Soft Skills
- Good personality, open and agile minded, team player, willing to learn and overperform.
- English proficiency is necessary, the German language is a plus.
- Willingness to accommodate work flexible hours.
- Responsible and capable to work unsupervised.
- Being collaborative, helping others and not being afraid to ask for help.
- Being able to organize yourself and your work so that you and others can work with you.
- Being able to communicate your ideas clearly and succinctly to clients, users, and colleagues.
