Tetra Tech International Development (http://www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for various Technical Specialist positions on an anticipated five-year USAID-funded Climate Smart Initiatives activity in Kosovo. The activity aims to create a resilient environment and more economic sustainability through increased awareness of and demand for climate solutions, and policies that support climate change mitigation and adaptation, with a focus on behavior change, raising awareness, and influencing government, citizens, and the private sector to take action to mitigate climate change and adapt to its impact.

These potential full-time positions will be based in Kosovo for the full life of the project (anticipated five years). For all positions, working knowledge of English, experience working in and managing multi-disciplinary teams, frequent travel to field sites, knowledge of MS Office applications, and commitment to gender equity and social inclusion are required. Candidates with primary qualifications and experience in more than one of the below areas should indicate their interest in multiple positions in their cover letter.

​Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or bachelor’s with 7+ years of relevant experience) in a field relevant to the position of interest (i.e. public policy, communications, economics, climate sciences, natural resource management, international development.);
• At least seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Kosovo;
• Experience on USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred but not required;
• Proven track record of collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders (including governments, the private sector, and local organizations), and integrating social inclusion with women, youth, and other vulnerable populations;
• Professional fluency in English required; and
