The team is an integral part to the overall aim of the company, having in focus the guests hospitality experience. The ambitious team consists of Software Developers, QA Engineers, Designers, Customer Service, Operations and Accounting.
Butler Hospitality is looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join the team in Prishtina. The Data Engineer would build the infrastructure and systems that collect, manage and convert raw data into usable information that the company would use for business needs. You will work closely with our Software Engineers and Quality Assurance team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to understand company objectives and collect relevant data
- Combine, analyze and organize raw data from different sources into usable information
- Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures
- Develop algorithms to transform data into useful and actionable information
- Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
- Collaborate in creation of data-warehouse and data-lakes systems
Your profile
- Computer Science/Engineering degree or Information Technology
- Familiar with both relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with setting up data–warehouses, data-lakes
- Experience with creating ETL/ELT processes
- Preferred Experience working with common programming languages such as Python, NodeJS in a microservice architecture
- Prefered experience in: AWS Services, CI/CD pipelines, Serverless framework
- Knowledge of learning machine methods
- Analytical skills with problem-solving attitude
- Self initiative, organizational skills and detail oriented
- Team player with a can-do attitude, supporting the data needs of multiple needs
