3D Character Artist
We are looking for a talented digital artist with good interpersonal skills for the position of a 3D Character Artist who can create base characters and traits for an NFT collection. The 3D Artist's key responsibility is to draw and visualize 3D characters' customized parts and traits.
What you'll do:
- Create fully rigged 3D characters, according to the team's vision;
- Create character assets such as customized parts, traits, and attachables;
- Model and texture high-poly characters and character assets;
- Create low-poly 3D characters and character assets;
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years of experience with 3D asset creation;
- 2+ years of experience modeling in ZBrush, Blender, or Maya (or an equivalent 3D program, though ZBrush is a huge plus).
- Solid knowledge of digital sculpting high poly (hard surface and organic) - in ZBrush
- Solid knowledge of low-poly modeling, UV mapping, and retopology in Blender;
- Understanding of form, shape language, and color;
- A good sense of anatomy, and proportions;
- Excellent texturing skills in Substance Painter and/or Photoshop
- A strong 3D generalist with a solid understanding of all facets of 3D development
- Ability to work from reference materials such as photography or concept art;
- Ability to absorb, apply and give constructive feedback;
- Ability to iterate quickly and adhere to a production schedule
- Ability to adapt to different artistic styles;
