KODE Labs is looking for a full-time Engineering Manager who is enthusiastic about building engineering and will play a critical role in onboarding buildings into our smart building platform. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Stand up KODE Labs smart building platform at new sites by integrating the technologies available in the building such as HVAC, Lighting, Fire, Indoor Air Quality, and advanced IOT systems.
- Lead and manage a team of Project Engineers to execute KODE ecosystem deployment for all projects, as well as assist in any technical needs / support to continue accomplishing project tasks.
- Track and report on everyday task progress as well as issues and problem solving strategies.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to fully define deliverables and task execution for each project from conception to product delivery.
- Collaborate with the Implementation Manager to coordinate team relations & structure, as well as project timeline and process management.
- Review mechanical/electrical/IOT drawings to assess and extract relevant information to understand the configuration and deployment of systems within the building.
- Classify and help process actions to be taken based on equipment types, locations, and data streams to enable digital twin technology for each project (IOT, real estate software, conventional building systems)
- Implement initial reports, visualizations, events for end users based upon understanding of building equipment.
- Experience in fields related to mechanical, electrical or civil engineering
- Ability to write and communicate in English fluently
- Experience in Project Management and/or Team Leading
- Be excited and interested in building systems and building technology
- Ability to accurately assess and read MEP and IOT drawings
- Ability to complete detailed work
- Ability to handle multiple projects from concept through execution, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Advanced technical skills
- Commercial project experience
- Excellent multitasking, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or other related field
