Role: 

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. You will drive and own the new generation of data-driven analytics and performance visibility tools. This is a high impact and cross-functional role that will shape the future of the business. Butler is looking for individuals who thrive in chaos, think about repeatability of processes, and live in the details. 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analysis, and dashboards to help guide key performance indicators
• Work closely with stakeholders to extract, transform, and load data from a number of data sources using SQL
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights and present business recommendations to stakeholders and leadership in a digestible and compelling way
• Test and assess the impact and efficacy of key business initiatives and communicate drivers of success and help shape business strategy
• Educate your business partners—use your data analytic experience to identify what data points and drivers are missing
• Assist with special projects for senior management and ad-hoc analyses as necessary

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in business analyst, business intelligence, or data analyst at a public company  or high-growth startup
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus, but not required
• Advanced working knowledge querying with SQL
• Prior experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase
• Ability to operate in a fast moving, dynamic environment that is constantly changing and evolving. Successful multi-tasking is a must
• Strong communication and presentation skills
