Senior IT Azure/Cloud Administrator

We are looking for an agile and experienced Senior Azure Cloud Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic career opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual, who possesses excellent technical skills and expertise in the operation and administration of cloud-based infrastructures and services along with proven technical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and participate with IT Leadership in the identification and development of Cloud platform strategies.
• Design, implement, configure, and maintain various Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, AIP, ATP, ASR, CAS, EM+S, Teams, Intune, AAD Connect, Exchange Online and O365.
• Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines and Azure Application and Networking Services to support growth into the cloud.
• Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
• Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projects
• Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets
• Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations
• Ensure System configuration is consistent with institutional policies/procedures.
• Communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing to peers, senior management, and other non-technical personnel.
• Provide the project teams the appropriate support regarding cloud-specific expertise when implementing solutions
• Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy, operate and alerting mechanisms to ensure visibility of systems' behavior

Required skills/experience:

• 5 or more years of working experience
• Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Azure certification
• Good knowledge of network administration, TCP/IP protocols, Internet services (DNS, FTP, etc.), Windows family protocols
• Good knowledge of firewall principles
• Container and Orchestration Experience with APIs and Microservices (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and best practices
• An ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility within the team.
• Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
• Ability to work on multiple IT projects, as well as manage day to day operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
