TITAN SHARRCEM is currently looking for a proficient and driven Accountant to join our Finance Team. As an Accountant, he/she will be pivotal in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payables, workflows, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Ensure that financial deadlines in respect of payments are met (especially to Tax & other governmental authorities).
- Monitor accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved
- Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare weekly cash payments reports
- Prepare monthly analysis of payables
- Monitors the payment terms and proposes changes based on reports
- Closely cooperate with Purchasing department on all issues regarding payments & outstanding Invoices
- Participate in the preparation of the annual audit
- Participate in the completing the documents (invoices) for liquidation
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, Charter Accountancy would be a plus
- 2-3 years of accounts payable experience (preferably) within an accounting department,
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical and Communication skills
- SAP knowledge preferred, or working knowledge to similar ERP, Microsoft Office very good
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Ready to make the extra mile!
- Good knowledge of the English language
