Chief Technology Officer
EPPC Kosovo, on behalf of its client, an International leading education & training institution, is recruiting a Chief Technology Officer.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Run and supervise departments efficiently;
• Takes responsibility for the company's technology by analyzing and giving recommendations to improve functionality;
• Maintain and develop a continuous improvement of company culture;
• Ensure the implementation of information security requirements and compliance with respective security and data protection laws for the corporate and other branches;
• Bring leadership attitude by continuously developing and conducting performance evaluations and achievements plans to keep the staff motivated and offer high-quality service delivery;
• Ensure adequate controls are installed and that processes are followed when working on various software and applications;
• Guide the software development and software business analyst teams in implementing best practices in test-driven development;
• Develop and direct all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information;
• Supervise system infrastructure and feedback system to ensure all applications and technologies are being improved efficiently;
• Report directly to the top management.
Qualifications and competencies required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields;
• Master’s degree is desirable, but not mandatory;
• At least 5 years of work experience in Security, IT, or software development;
• Relevant Certificates are an advantage;
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
