Social Media Specialist

KODE Labs is looking for a full-time position for the role of Social Media Specialist. We are looking for someone who will work closely with our Marketing team to develop strategies and content for our social media presence. An ideal candidate would be someone who wants to test themselves in a new industry, Smart Buildings, and has an eye and understanding of key visual principles.   WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand how we communicate and extend it to our social media presence; 
• Develop and implement engaging and informative social media strategies aligned with our business objectives; 
• Planning, developing and implementing social media campaigns on multiple channels; 
• Managing and facilitating social media engagement by responding to messages and comments; 
• Keeping up to date with social media trends and develop new content forms that are relevant to the companies business goals; 
• Reporting and measuring social media performance and making adjustments if needed in order to reach set targets;

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

• 1+ years of experience in the role of Social Media Specialist, Online Marketing Manager or similar role; 
• Bachelor’s degree or Professional Certificate in Communication, Marketing or Social Media Management; 
• Knowledge of different social media platforms and their best practices, with a special focus in LinkedIn; 
• Working knowledge of graphic design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Figma is not required but would be an advantage; 
• Working knowledge and understanding of SEO principles and tools is not required but would be an advantage; 
• Communication and problem solving skills; 
• Doer mindset that takes initiative and ownership;
• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
