First, a bit about ThriveCoin
We are a recently founded stealth-mode crypto company building a token economy that allows any person to contribute value to groups and businesses they care about... and be rewarded with ownership.
We’re building a microservices-based system that’s extensible enough to capture millions of types of activities, and we’re leveraging blockchain to help ensure that data can be elevated, seen, followed, and trusted by any individual with access.
Our founding team are successful entrepreneurs and crypto tech execs from top universities (Williams, Stanford, Harvard etc.) who have worked together for years.
We’re doing quite well
We’ve quickly raised funds from strategic leaders at top venture firms and businesses, and we are barreling toward a January TestNet launch of our stealth product.
The emerging crypto market sector we’re addressing is BIG. It has created companies worth hundreds of millions of dollars in months - and we are massively innovating on the capabilities of existing organizations.
What will you be doing
You will be one of two core team front-end engineers developing the core application layer of our TestNet product launching soon. You will also be collaborating with front-end developers in our growing, distributed pod teams working on products connected to that core application layer.
You will be on the front lines of solving one of the hardest problems in crypto to date: creating a usable, understandable interface for people who want to contribute, but haven’t been able to because of the friction and learning curve involved in anything crypto.
On a day to day basis, you’ll be involved with the following:

Build and maintain high performing reliable web services and applications

Identify performance issues and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems

Actively contribute to code and design reviews with peers and partners

Contribute to a culture of top-tier software engineering
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years full-time programming experience in a professional work environment
-
Expert knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML5+, ES6+ and CSS3+ (SCSS) (min 4 years)

Expert capability building high-quality, responsive layouts and with smooth interactions, transitions and animations (min 4 years)

Hands-on experience with ReactJS (min 3 years)

Knowledge of React functional components, React hooks

Fluency with version control and Git flows

Experience working with REST APIs

Strong communication skills and teamwork

Proficiency in spoken and written English
Additional desired experience

Passion for design

Experience working with designs made in Figma

Experience working in Agile software development processes

Experience building components and creating unit tests

Experience with blockchains, crypto currencies, and wallets like MetaMask

Salary range of USD $3500 - $6000 per month (heavily dependent on level of expertise / capability)
